Manny J Clark, just like other people, is also engaged in other pursuits aside from what he focuses full-time. Ironically, what is considered a hobby by different people is his permanent job, which is penciling, inking, coloring, and drawing. For almost two decades since 1993, he worked his way in the comic book industry by working with various companies, and assisting diverse artists, creating different arts, and designing pencil character guides to make other inkers and artists render the best kind of characters, heroes, and villains alike. Since he has been too absorbed in his real work, anyone would wonder what his pastime could be, if he ever has one.

Another irony that Manny J Clark sets in is that he teaches Design, Comics, Concept Art, Story Board, and Digital Illustration just as something to busy himself when he has spare time. All of the things he imparts to other people are actually full-time jobs for professionals where some are taught dedicatedly, such as Design, Concept Art is shared separately, and they usually cost higher in some colleges and schools. However, Clark sees this more of an opportunity for him to improve while assisting others in their quest of becoming future artists in the comic industry. Thus, he only intends to have these things done part-time, where it does not occupy too much of his attention.

Because of the dedication of Manny Clark in enhancing his craft, he has created himself a name in the comic book industry, ever since he was working for Image Comics as a penciller for others. And while he is on the constant pursuit of improving his art, he has practiced and took other classes that has everything to do with what he loves best. Before he was able to establish his skills in a higher plane, all of the things he now shares on his spare time, such as Digital Illustration and Design, were taken as classes of its own to assure that he is not left out in the growing trends in the comic book business.

As Manny Clark absorbed all that he could learn for self-improvement, he went back to his first love, which is penciling and inking. Coloring may be something that he is trying to get used to; nevertheless, his skills are superior without question. He can be considered as someone amazing, all because he seeks to teach others and share his talents, even if he only does it part-time only.
